About our Coach
Kyle Laney Head Coach Idaho Rampage 14U
Born in Humble, Texas, Kyle has been training athletes in both Texas and Idaho for over a decade. A standout catcher, he was named UIL Texas Top 100 Player (2009) and earned All-District First Team Catcher (2008–09) before competing with the Houston Heat Collegiate Summer Team and later at San Jacinto College North (2010–11).
But Coach Kyle’s legacy is more than stats—he’s the founder of Idaho Rampage Baseball and the heart of our 14U team. To his players, he’s more than a coach—he’s a mentor, role model, and motivator who lives and breathes the game of baseball. His passion for teaching, his respect for the sport, and his ability to bring out the best in every kid is what makes him truly special.
